Pay directly for your berth with Blue Water Pay

The assignment

Blue Water Pay is an extension to the existing Blue Water App. The app offers ports the possibility to make bookings and the ability to make payments via the app itself or an iZettle mobile pin device. For example, sailors who want to moor but didn't book one in advance, can make a booking richt on the docks and pay for it immediately, without having to walk to the port office!

Paying for a harbour berth is often seen as a problem. All ports are looking for cost savings, efficiency and more control over their cash flow. Blue Water Pay offers a solution where sailors can easily pay for a berth via the Blue Water APP. We have been able to develop the technical link for Blue Water APP that makes it possible to make payments via the Blue Water APP or an iZettle mobile PIN device. For example, customers who do not want to use an app can pay with their debit card at the office or on the quay. The payments via the iZettle, together with the payments via the Blue Water APP, are administered in one clear system. This way the harbour master always has insight into his or her income thanks to the dashboard we developed!

Mobile payment

We have integrated the existing Blue Water APP dashboard into a new system. Thanks to a link developed by us, in addition to paying via iDeal or credit card in the Blue Water App, it is also possible to pay with a debit card,Apple Pay or Android Pay in the port thanks to an iZettle card reader. All payments are administered in the specially designed Blue Water Pay dashboard.

The Result

We have ensured that harbour masters who use the Blue Water App can also directly manage their cash flow thanks to the payment options that Blue Water Pay has to offer.
